By accessing or using Scholified (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have permission from a parent or guardian to use the Service, or that you are using it through a school or program that has obtained appropriate consent on your behalf.
Your Account
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
- You must provide accurate information when creating your profile
Scholarship Information Is Not Guaranteed
Scholified aggregates and displays scholarship information from third-party sources. We work to keep this information accurate and current, but we do not control scholarship providers and cannot guarantee that any listing is complete, current, or error-free. You are responsible for verifying deadlines, eligibility, and requirements directly with the scholarship provider before applying. Scholified is not responsible for any missed deadline, denied application, or lost opportunity resulting from inaccurate or outdated third-party information.
Acceptable Use
- You will not use the Service to submit false information in a scholarship application
- You will not attempt to scrape, copy, or redistribute our scholarship database
- You will not use the Service in any way that disrupts or interferes with its operation
- You will not impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any organization
Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, features, and underlying technology, is owned by Scholified and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the content you submit (such as essays and profile information), and grant us a limited license to use it solely to operate and improve the Service on your behalf.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that using Scholified will result in a scholarship award.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Scholified will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including damages related to missed deadlines or scholarship application outcomes.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
